Hello!
I'm Claire the designer behind Bohemian Feathers Jewelry. Although I come from a little village in Basse Normandie, I now live in Nantes after spending 10 years in Paris.
En 2016 j’ai commencé la création de bijoux à coté de mon job de Directrice Artistique en agence de communication.
And since my move to Nantes in January 2020 I am happy to have a full-time job on my shop .
My creations are handmade with semi-precious stones, feathers and all kinds of natural materials. And since 2020'Summer I now create brass jewelry with metalsmithing techniques!
Depuis l’été 2020 j’ai développé une nouvelle gamme de bijoux en laiton entièrement réalisé à la main en utilisant les techniques de bijouterie traditionnelle.
La nature est mon inspiration. Et c’en est une petite parcelle que j’essaye d’amener dans mes créations, histoire de toujours en avoir un petit bout sur soi.

Nature
What I like most of all is to find myself in the middle of a large green expanse or in the shade of trees in the forest, hearing the sound of the river flowing through the rocks and the birds singing on my passage. When I create I like to tell myself that it makes me think of such and such a place that I have visited, or that such stone reminds me of the colors of a sunset or the color of water ... nature is all around us and hopefully in my designs.
Feathers
With each walk in nature, I can't help but pick up all the feathers I find on my way! They are most often put in a book or in my wallet, until I take them out and decide to use them for a creation.
Gemstones
Since 2016 I started to be interested in semi-precious stones. In addition to the beauty of the mineral itself, I am also interested in its virtues. You will find on each product sheet, in the description part, a paragraph concerning the stone using in the jewel.
Handmade
À l'heure où la surconsommation et la production de masse commencent à être mis de coté par les clients, l'engouement autour de l'artisanat et du fait-main bat son plein. Il me plait de créer des produits uniques de part les matériaux que j'emploie, aucune pierre n'est semblable à sa voisine mais aussi grâce aux techniques de bijouterie qui me permettent de créer un bijou de a à z.
